FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

Statute requires specific information to be maintained in a court record in justice courts.  H.B. 2459 makes the specific information contained in a court record permissive rather than mandatory.  The Driggs Floor Amendment restores the statute to its current form to make the type of information outlined in statute to be contained in a civil court record mandatory instead of permissive.  The amendment also makes a clarifying change.
