FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

                 Corrects a drafting error to the committee amendment by adding a word that was inadvertently left out.  With the floor amendment, the provision reads as follows:

 

            If an insurer declines or does not  respond to a request to contract with a local health department, the insurer shall reimburse the department at the in-network provider rate.
