AN ACT

 

amending title 1, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 1‑310; relating to holidays.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 1, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 1-310, to read:

START_STATUTE1-310.  Girl Scouts of the United States of America day

A.  March 12, in each year, shall be observed as girl scouts of the United States of America day.

B.  Girl scouts of the United States of America day is not a legal holiday.END_STATUTE

Sec. 2.  Emergency

This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
