AN ACT
Amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-500.30; amending title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11-251.14; amending Title 41, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding chapter 48; relating to federal monies.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.30, to read:
9-500.30. Federal monies; prohibition; union labor preference
A city or town is prohibited from accepting federal monies for a construction project if as a condition of accepting the federal monies the city or town is required to give a preference to union labor.
Sec. 2. Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-251.14, to read:
11-251.14. Federal monies; prohibition; union labor preference
A board of supervisors is prohibited from accepting federal monies for a construction project if as a condition of accepting the federal monies the board of supervisors is required to give a preference to union labor.
Sec. 3. Title 41, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding chapter 48, to read:

ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
41-4801. Federal monies; prohibition; union labor preference
A department, institution, board or commission is prohibited from accepting federal monies for a construction project if as a condition of accepting the federal monies the department, institution, board or commission is required to give a preference to union labor.
