AN ACT

 

Making an appropriation to the department of economic security for the education and training vouchers program.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; education and training vouchers program; exemption

A.  The sum of $_____________ is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2006-2007 to the department of economic security for its education and training vouchers program for foster youth and former foster youth in kindergarten and grades one through twelve.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
