Minutes of Interim Meeting

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

House Hearing Room 4  --  1:30 p.m.

 

Co-Chairman Jones called the meeting to order at 1:41 p.m. and attendance was noted by the secretary.

Co-Chairman Jones stated that there was much good input gathered at the previous meeting on November 30, 2010, when all testimony was heard.  He added that this input and additional information received subsequently was compiled and distributed to all Committee Members.  He asked if any Member had questions;  there were none.

 

Senator Pierce moved that the Senate Natural Resources, Infrastructure, and Public Debt and House of Representatives Natural Resources and Rural Affairs Committee of Reference recommend to the full Legislature that the Department of Agriculture be continued for ten years.  The motion carried by a roll call vote of 6-0-0-4 (Attachment 1).

 

Without objection, the meeting adjourned at 1:44 p.m.
