Joint Select Committee to Investigate Operations and Conditions at the Arizona Veterans Home

PURPOSE:     To:  (1) investigate whether the level of care received by Arizona veterans at the Veteran's Home fell below acceptable standards; (2) review the protocols for patient care at the Veteran's Home and determine whether these protocols were followed; (3) review the qualifications of the personnel operating the Veteran's Home; (4) review the oversight of the Veteran's Home by the Department of Veteran's Services. The Committee shall report its findings and recommendations to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives no later than July 31, 2007.
