  1. From the homepage, click the Members link located on the blue navigation bar.
  2. Click the member's link.
  3. Scroll down past the personal biography to view the committee assignments.

Where can I obtain a voting record of my member? Is it online?

The information is not online. You can receive that information through the House Chief Clerk's office (602) 926-3032 or Senate Secretary's office (602) 926-4231.

How do I find the status of a bill?

Make sure the correct session is selected. If you know the bill number, type the bill number in the Bill # Search box (ex: SB1001) and click Search. Click either the Bill Status HTML or Bill Status TEXT link for a bill's status.

Make sure the correct session is selected. If you know the bill number, type the bill number in the Bill # Search box (ex: SB1001) and click Search. Click the bill version link (i.e. Introduced version, Senate Engrossed version, etc.)

The site is "session" driven. You must change the session to view bills from a previous session.
  1. Click the Change Session link and select a session.
  2. Three ways to locate bills:
  • Type the bill number in the Bill# box and click Search.
  • Click the Bills link, select the range of bills and click the bill.
  • Click the Full Text Searching link located at the top right hand corner of the window and enter a keyword(s).
  • Select a bill in the result list.

What are bill summaries?

Under the direction of the Arizona Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, the summaries are prepared by research staff which includes summaries of all legislation signed into law during the regular legislative session and any special sessions that have occurred since the publication of the previous year's Legislative Summary.

The Summary is not intended to be an exhaustive analysis of each bill, but rather an overview that will provide the reader with the main purpose of the bill. Additional information and details about the legislation can be obtained from bill summaries (Senate Fact Sheets and House Abstracts) prepared by the Senate and House Research Staff or the chaptered bill itself.
