Bas Aja is the Executive Vice President of the Arizona Cattle Feeders' Association ACFA), Executive Director of the Arizona Beef Council and the Director of Public Policy for the Arizona Cattlemen's Association. In this capacity, he has been the lead government relations expert for the Arizona Cattlemen’s Association for the past 20 years. Aja’s areas of expertise include natural resource, environmental and agricultural taxation laws and regulations; livestock and futures markets; international import/export markets for livestock and meats. He has extensive experience in resource management planning and he oversees the CAFO Regulatory Program for the ACFA’s Beef Quality Assurance Program. |
