Phil Lovas was appointed to the Arizona House of Representatives in February 2012. He was elected to a full-term in November 2012 for the 51st legislature and serves on the Health Committee and is chairman of the Insurance and Retirement Committee.

Prior to entering the legislature, Lovas worked in the hotel industry for over a decade as the regional director of franchise development for Cendant Corporation and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Phil lives in Peoria with his wife Corinne and their three children.
