amending section 41-762, arizona revised statutes; relating to state personnel administration.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 41-762, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE41-762.  Definitions

In this article and article 6 of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

1.  "Employee" means a person holding a position in state service.

2.  "State service" means all offices and positions of employment in state government except offices and positions exempted by the provisions of this article. END_STATUTE
